CEO on the Road: Christmas Kando Unity Ride 2024

This year's Christmas Kando Unity Ride 2024 was a remarkable experience that distinguished itself from our previous unity ride events. With 170 participants, including 101 motorcycle riders and 38 back riders, we were joined by convoys from our dedicated suppliers and partners. The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as we came together to share stories, build camaraderie, and celebrate our love for the open road.

Amidst the excitement, we also emphasized the importance of safe riding practices. Each rider was reminded to wear proper gear, stay within speed limits, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. Our shared enthusiasm for motorcycles should always accompany a commitment to safety, ensuring that everyone returns home safely after enjoying the ride. By promoting safe riding, we strengthen not only our community but also enhance our individual experiences on the road.

The Thrills of the Journey

As the sun began to rise, excitement filled Yamaha RevZone CDO 2 Cycles in Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro. Participants of the CEO on the Road: Christmas Kando Unity Ride 2024 arrived as early as 6 AM, ready for adventure. Some took their time preparing their motorcycles, checking tire pressure and brakes, while others opted for a bike wash.

The smell of fresh coffee filled the cool morning air as participants enjoyed drinks and snacks, sharing laughs and building anticipation for the ride. By 7 AM, a safety briefing was held, covering essential riding tips and the need for proper gear to ensure everyone felt prepared.

At 8 AM sharp, engines roared to life, and our journey began. We departed from Yamaha RevZone, heading toward the picturesque mountains of Talakag Bukidnon. The route took us through the stunning scenery of Impasug-ong Bukidnon to Libona, with nature's beauty at every turn. Even when the rain started, everyone remained cheerful, embracing the weather with enthusiasm.

Upon returning to Yamaha RevZone CDO, we gathered to share stories over coffee and dinner. The fun continued into the evening with drinks, heartfelt gratitude towards fellow riders, and reminiscing about the day’s memorable moments.

Reflections on the Experience

As the ride came to an end, each participant left with lasting memories and a renewed sense of belonging. Many riders realized that these journeys hold greater meaning when shared with others. Although riding can sometimes feel solitary, the presence of friends—whether lifelong companions or new acquaintances—enhanced every moment. Conversations flowed effortlessly, and bonds strengthened throughout the day.

Reflecting on the event, it was heartwarming to see smiles all around. Riders shared their favorite moments, from the exhilaration of the ride to the warmth of shared experiences, reaffirming that the journey is always more meaningful when enjoyed together.
